About FARR
The FARR Training Academy was established in 2008. Start-up funding was provided by The Association for Alcohol Responsibility and Education, (aware.org). Funding is now provided by various sponsors and donations from philanthropists. FARR also offers training at cost as to generate our own income. FARR’s training programmes aim to increase the knowledge and skills pertaining to the prevention of alcohol related harm, such as FASD, and other health and psycho-social ills, such as domestic and gender based violence. We offer training to students, professionals, other NGO’s/CBO’s, corporates and community members across South Africa
