Here are a few examples of how you could get involved:

1. Make a financial contribution

Should you wish to make a financial contribution towards FARR’s initiatives, kindly contact us for FARR’s banking details and receive a Section 18A certificate for tax deduction purposes.

2. Donate towards our BackaBuddy Fundraising Campaign

BackaBuddy offers a safe and secure payment portal for both local and international donations of any amount. Read more about our BackaBubby Fundraising Campaign and how to donate.

3. Sign up for a MySchool Card and add FARR as beneficiary

Every time you shop at participating partners such as Woolworths, Engen QuickShop, loot.co.za, WorksheetCloud or Netstar, you will be giving back, as a percentage of your spend will be donated to FARR! Read more about the MySchool MyVillage MyPlanet Program and how to sign up for a card.

4. Donate preloved items to our FARR Charity Shops

FARR currently has two Charity Shops located in Petrusville and Hanover (Northern Cape Province). Here preloved items are sold at a very low price and offer community members the opportunity to “shop” for what they like, want and need with pride. 5. Donate Knitted Baby Jerseys and other baby items

FARR gifts knitted baby jerseys (and other baby items when available) to pregnant women participating in our Healthy Mother Healthy Baby© Programme. Your donation will help to keep these little bodies warm during the cold winter months!

6. Donate Children’s Books

Book reading is an essential part of FARR’s Knock-Knock Early Childhood Development Programme and when available are also gifted to the Pre-School children participating in the programme. Your donation will assist in fostering a love for reading and boost language development through reading and book sharing!

7. Student Internship

FARR offers short-term internships to students in related fields of study on a volunteering basis. Contact us to find out more about our Student Internship application process.

8. Volunteer your time and skills (Support in Kind)

Should you wish to donate your time and skills on a voluntary basis, contact us to find out more about our application process.
