Donor Spotlight

This month, FARR is honouring the following generous donors: Church Leaders from De Aar

On 18 February Church Leaders from De Aar met at the FARR/Joan Wertheim Centre to discuss possible ways of supporting the work of FARR in De Aar.

Some Churches have helped us in very practical ways, for example:

NG Church North: Ds Roux braaied chops and sausage for 80 children for our 2010 Christmas lunch for the children at the FARR/Joan Wertheim Centre.

NG Church North: Helped as volunteers for our youth day programme on 15 June 2011

Methodist Church: Volunteers assisted with the 2010 Christmas lunch, as well as various donations

Anglican Church: Volunteers helped with the transportation of our clients and play educational games with children (Jan  May 2011)
